This Surgebreaker is a secondary surge arrestor for Homeline load centers, designed to protect electrical service and major household appliances, excluding electronic devices. It is intended for 3-wire, 120/240 VAC, single-phase systems and has a NEMA 1 indoor rating. The Surgebreaker is rated at 5 kA and has a SCCR of 22.5 kA, with a plug-on design requiring two-pole positions.
The LED indicator on the Surgebreaker displays the operational status, and the device is UL Listed. The Surgebreaker provides equal protection to circuits and receptacles throughout the home, and it can be used in service entrance locations, CSEDs, and Homeline load centers. The plug-on installation requires two spaces, and the product is UL 1449 3rd Edition Listed.
